Akitio Station is a long coastal ridge located at latitude 40.3 south where the Pacific Plate collides with the East Coast of New Zealand. It is located 50 minutes from Dannevirke on a dramatic stretch of unspoilt coastline. The property comprises 3600ha with an effective pastrol farming platform of 1200ha. Akitio has expansive costal hills, plantation forest & native bush. This makes for perfect habitat for red & fallow to thrive which supports our free range hunting philosophies. We are Nigel & Connie a husband & wife team in equity partnership with the owners of Akitio Station Ed & Jen Kight. We provide accomodation & guided hunting trips (for parties up to 3 per guide) for Red Stag, Fallow Buck Cull Stags & Meat Animals. We are extremely family orientated with 4 children Jordan 20, Briar 16, Freya 14 & Luca 10.
