Akitio Community Centre

The Akitio Community Centre is an amazing location for any and all forms of entertainment. Located across from the beach, the Centre has hosted birthdays, wedding functions, been used by large family groups during the holidays, and many general get-togethers. Great for School trips with plenty of interesting activities nearby.
The building is licensed for 150 people, and there are 48 bunk beds in four dormitories. A large balcony overlooks the beach, a tennis court and playground.
There is a large kitchen and bar area with plentiful fridge space and a large BBQ.
Large toilets with a separate handicap shower facility.
Akitio has a local store and takeaways.
