Woodlands Dog Retreat

We are a unique off-lead free-run experience for dogs. Set in a beautiful pine forest near Bethells Beach, Woodlands Dog Retreat provides your dog with over 10 acres to run and play in their natural habitat.

We are a small private facility who believe freedom to socialise in an open outdoor environment is essential to a dog's well-being and calm state of mind.

We offer specialized training, daycare and dog walking services. Our caring and experienced staff offer the highest level of care, love and attention for your dog.

PICK UP & DROP OFF
We understand how busy life is so we take the stress out of your day by providing a safe & secure pick up and drop off service in a comfortable air-conditioned van. You do not need to be home; you simply give us instructions on how to reach your dog. We pick up from 7:30am and drop off before 5:00pm.

At Woodlands Dog Retreat, while we give dogs the space to run and play in their natural habitat, we encourage balanced respectful behaviour. We practise calm self-control and do not allow high intensity controlling play. This results in focussed dogs that are respectful to each other and their trainers.

We want dogs to feel safe and secure in a controlled environment where we can build confidence and help develop their skills in a tranquil outdoor space.

A large indoor covered area provides shelter during bad weather as well as a great place for quiet afternoon downtime & specialised training. Mature pine trees offer shade in the hotter months with 2 natural ponds for dogs to cool off and have some fun splash time.
