Wharariki Beach Holiday Park and Archway Cafe

Wharariki Beach Holiday Park is located in the middle of the beautiful Kahurangi National Park and is the closest accommodation to the spectacular Wharariki Beach and Archway Islands. A 20mn walk will take you to this beautiful beach and on low tide, will allow you to meet and play with its cute seal pups! The numerous caves are also there for you to explore! If you are after the waves, surfing is possible on Wharariki or Fletchers beach. After a walk or for a good morning start, visit our Archway Cafe, a peaceful gem between the trees where you can enjoy organic coffee and sweet and savory treats!

For the bird's watchers, stay at the park and treat yourself with a guided tour of the Farewell Spit with the Farewell Spit Eco Tour company, the only one able to take you on a ride along the spit and to see the bird sanctuary!
