This page has been reserved by Whakakī Marae so that people (who whakapapa to the hapū of Whakakī) can get directions on how to join our secret group page, where whānau whānui can connect with others, and where Whakakī Marae will post information about upcoming events or activities.

Why a secret group page?
The information contained on our page is hardly secret - quite the opposite in that we want to share this information with all of Te Whānau o Te Whakakī.

The reason for making it a secret group page is that by doing this, we avoid having our posts shared out to your (and everyone else's) friends.

How can I join the Whakakī Marae group page?
You can try clicking on the website below, this is the address for our secret group.

If you are blocked, then you need to ask one of your whānau who is already a member of our group page to add you. Once they do this, the request needs to be approved by one of the page administrators. There are 3 of us so requests are actioned very quickly.

Once the above tasks have been completed, you will hooked into what is going on at the marae, and the activities of some of our whānau whānui.
