The Well Foundation is the official charity supporting North Shore and Waitakere hospitals and community health services extending up to Rodney.
With support from our local community, we raise funds to advance healthcare for everyone - babies, children, adults and the elderly.
We work with Waitemata District Health Board to fund projects and initiatives that improve health outcomes, lift the quality of patient experience and deliver world-class care.
The Waitemata DHB has a big job, serving the country’s largest DHB population of over 580,000 people. As well as running North Shore and Waitakere hospitals, the DHB is responsible for the region’s primary healthcare and other community services that run through more than 30 sites.
It also provides on behalf of two neighbouring DHBs, child disability (Wilson Centre), forensic psychiatry (Mason Clinic), school dental, and alcohol and drug (Pitman House) services.
We work across the largest DHB region including rural and urban North, West and Rodney.
HELP ADVANCE HEALTHCARE FOR YOU, YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR COMMUNITY!
