Wakanui Bach

Hi to all viewing our page, Wakanui is a seaside destination just 17klms from the thriving town of Ashburton, South Canterbury, New Zealand. Here, where the singing tree frogs and the waves on the beach lull you to sleep, we have a stunning piece of paradise. This 2 bedroom cottage has a lovely open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, plenty of space for kiddies to ride there bikes and be safe. Al and myself (Molly) are the sole permanent residents @ Wakanui. There's fishing, this year it's been great, flounder, elephant fish, red cod , or a stroll along the beach, collecting semi-precious stones called Agates. The Hector dolphins swim each day along the shoreline, occasionally a sea lion will come on shore even had penquins. The Wakanui Bach is a place to simply relax, close to shops and great restaurants , but here we live with solar power and generator. Your private totally self contained cottage, is supplied with linen @ no extra cost, feather duvets on all beds. If wanted tutorials are available in hand spinning and decoupage @ a minimal cost. Come and spend a night, a weekend, or longer in this perfect peaceful piece of New Zealand kiwiana. You will never want to leave.
