Wairata Station

The Redpath family have been living on Wairata Station for over 100 years. We will be more than happy to share some of our many memories with you.

Wairata Station is a vast peaceful mountainous wilderness within reach of New Zealand's main centre, Auckland. Wairata Station is a large hill country farm ranging from lush river flats up to towering open peaks. The station runs over 400 head of Angus cattle and 1500 Perendale sheep.

Whether you're here to relax or to do one of our many activities, you will be well looked after. We have hosted guests over the past 15 years and people keep returning because they, like us, have fallen in love with our beautiful and unique piece of New Zealand.
