Wairarapa Midwives

We are a group of kind, dedicated and experienced midwives who work across the Wairarapa as Lead Maternity Carers (LMC). We have rooms for antenatal visits in Masterton and Carterton.

Our philosophy is to provide continuity of care and enable a healthy pregnancy, a good birth experience, and a supported postnatal recovery.

This includes:
* Free pregnancy testing
* Pre-pregnancy counselling
* Preparation for birth and parenting
* 24 hour urgent availability
* Support and professional care throughout labour and birth
* Home postnatal visits
* Breastfeeding advice, support and assistance
* Referrals to an obstetrician, paediatrician or another specialist if required
* Referrals for ultrasound scans and blood tests
* Contraceptive advice
