Celebrating Wairarapa Lamb - On the Hoof, On the Hook and On the Plate.

Consumers of New Zealand lamb want to know who produces the best lamb, where it comes from, how it is grown, and how to cook it to perfection.

Gate-to-Plate is an annual event held in Wairarapa – the home of sheep farming, that strives to answer these questions in a fun, family focused environment.

The lamb competition runs throughout February with the 'On the Plate' judging taking place at the Gate to Plate Culinary Marquee.

Join us in the Gate-to-Plate Culinary Marquee at the Masterton Trust House A&P Show on Saturday the 20th February 2016 where we will be running a full culinary programme featuring local and guest chefs doing interactive culinary demonstrations with lamb - drop in for all or part of it!

There is no entry fee to the Gate-to-Plate Culinary Marquee.
