Valentino's

Valentinos Restaurant opened in June 1990 and has always been owned with the bonus of an Italian Chef. It is the only licensed Italian restaurant in Turangi.
Ettore, the Owner/Chef was born in Treviso, in the North of Italy near Venice, where he learnt his cooking skills in the Veneto region before coming to Turangi. When Ettore was working on the Hydro Electric Power Scheme for the italian company Codelfa Cogefa he met and married Karena of Ngati Tuwharetoa descent and settled here in Turangi with their family.
