Underground Music Studios

Underground Music Studios is a new, Mt Albert based, private music teaching studio.

We teach Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Ukulele and Flute and will add more instruments depending on demand

Denny will be teaching Piano and Flute and has a BMus with honours in Classical Performance along with an ATCL. She has been teaching for the last 5 years with great success at many primary schools in Auckland. She has worked with many students sitting music exams with great results.

Alex has a BMus (Jazz), a Grad. Dip. Secondary Teaching and a Diploma in Audio Engineering. He has been an itinerant bass guitar teacher for the last 10 years and also teaches guitar and ukulele.
He has taken some of his students from beginner to university level, one of which earned the 'Best Musician' prize at the Smokefree Rockquest

Also, we have a Protools based recording setup and will be producing music for anyone interested.

Alex has 14 years experience in the music industry as band leader of B2KDA (Batucada Sound Machine) and has produced two of their albums. He has also played and worked with many other NZ artists including Che Fu, Nesian Mystik, One Million Dollars amongst others.
