We believe that young people deserve more. Not just the ones in big city centres, not just the ones at particular schools or who have well-off parents. We believe young people deserve our time as mentors and deserve our knowledge and guidance to build their own life experience. It's worth putting effort into young people.

Sea Cadets gives young people the life skills they need to become the leaders of their generation and the confidence to achieve great things now and in the future, or simply the opportunity to do a bit better.

With a little bit of effort from a few community-minded people, we can change the lives of individuals and the ethos of a community. And it's worth it, even for just a handful of young people in a little port town.
