The families I serve are usually not interested in formal religious ceremonies performed by ministers; they are looking for an alternative way to celebrate their loved one’s life. My services include spending a couple of hours with the family in their home. I listen to their vision for the service as well as the stories and memories surrounding their loved one. I make recommendations on various components (music, speakers, poetry, slideshow, etc) that they may want included. Then I go home and spend 4-8 hours putting it all together and writing a personalised service, weaving the themes of their loved one’s life throughout, helping them to say “goodbye” in a meaningful way.
I work with all Funeral Directors – ask for me.
