If you are looking for a place to stay where you can unwind, take in the beauty of New Zealands native nature and enjoy several beaches on walking distance, then The Sunny Side Up is the B&B for you. As you are on a holiday and want to leave the stress behind, a late check-out is standard with us, so you can substitute the breakfast for brunch if you like!

On arrival relax with a cup of tea, home roasted coffee or cold drink in room or outside and enjoy with a homemade treat. We are happy to assist with booking any trips and reservations.

Our double room is spacious with ensuite shower/toilet. In the in-room private breakfast area you find complimentary coffee and tea facilities, homemade baked goods and snacks. China and cutlery are also available if you wish to enjoy a quiet night in bringing in take aways.

Queen size beds with quality linen, so comfortable you might find it hard to get up for breakfast. But the smell of home roasted coffee, baked cinnamon pears and ovenbaked bacon for example will probably seduce you to move on to the in-room breakfast area where you can enjoy your luxurious breakfast. Or make it brunch if you like as a late check-out at 13:00 is standard at The Sunny Side Up. The privacy of in-room dining and the unrushed late check-out time makes The Sunny Side Up especially the place to stay for those special (romantic) get aways.

Centrally located at the Whangaparaoa peninsula The Sunny Side Up is the perfect place to explore Shakespear National Park, Tiritiri Matangi, or one of the many beaches that Whangaparaoa has to offer. You’ll feel miles away from the Auckland buzz yet it is only a 40 minutes drive down town.
