THE LOCAL Tavern, formally The Gables, have new owners and management, and a brand new outlook, we are well through a number of alterations and changes designed to bring back everything that has been the best about the place over the past 20 years and at the same time adding a modern touch.
We have renovated and reopened the Function room upstairs with a classy look, with a new bar and kitchenette, a 60 inch flat screen and sound system.
The Main Bar area has also had a upgrade along with the Woodstock bar outback, the next step will be the Garden bar out front and the building itself.
TAB is not far away, we have 18 Gaming machines, fully stocked bar and a full Kitchen.
Upstairs bar is available for functions or meetings for up to 65 people or there is our Woodstock bar that can also be booked for the larger functions, the stage is one of the biggest in Hamilton and we regularly have top bands and Karaoke, the Woodstock bar has a Jukebox, Pool tables and Darts boards.
