The Cowshed Cafe

The Cowshed Cafe is New Zealand's only cafe created in an old milking shed. Located at the mouth of the Mokihinui river, half an hour North of Westport.
It is the ideal place to relax and unwind in beautiful scenic surroundings.

We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner using free range eggs, free range chicken and fresh seasonal produce from our organic garden where possible.

We also serve cold drinks, organic fair trade coffee and yummy cakes and muffins.
Open from 9am to 8pm 6 days per week. Wednesday is the onl day closed as this is our shopping day.

We also cater functions from an intimate sit down meal to family reunions, birthdays and Weddings. Call us to discuss your options.
