The Breakout Room Franklin

Welcome to The Breakout Room, a new community based youth service in Pukekohe.

The Breakout Room aims to provide life skills to young people not currently attending formal education. Our focus is on developing and promoting:

- Personal Development
- Emotional Intelligence
- Communication skills
- Self Confidence
- Physical and Mental Health
- Using technology productively

This is not your typical programme and is a new and innovative approach that uses strength-based, self-directed learning. We aim to use cutting edge developments and technology to propel lives in a positive direction.

If you are struggling with education, making life decisions, anxiety, lack of purpose then this is literally a place for you. Operated by an experienced and qualified Support Worker, we aim to provide a supportive environment for any young person to grow and thrive no matter their circumstances.

Criteria:
- Aged 15-18 (Year 12-13)
- Not currently attending formal education (or is prevented from attending for any reason)
- Excluded students ARE welcome
- Youth engaged with Mental Health Services ARE welcome
