Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga is recognised nationally and internationally as a model of success. As the mandated leader of Kahungunu ki Heretaunga, we have been working alongside the whānau of Heretaunga for the past 31 years, offering medical, dental and psychological care health promotion, youth, social and education programmes. We lead marae and community development, and support our communities through political advocacy. Our extensive campus in Orchard Road, Hastings, is home base for around 200 staff, of whom 80 percent are Māori. We are family-focused and values-driven. Strong Whānau, Vibrant Communities.
