Being a kiwi zone, you may hear kiwi calling in the night and tui, kereru and kaka often cruise past the deck on their way home in the evening, which is a stunning place to sit and watch the sun go down. A separate lounge area and big-screen TV makes good viewing if you can drag yourself away from the night-lights view, then go to bed for a peaceful nights sleep! What a way to spend your days off!
