Native Tree Nursery now contains over 14,000 trees.

We supply a complete range of large NZ Native trees for all landscape and specimen tree requirements. We have more than 75 species enabling you to include a wide range of the species to suit your conditions.

Based near Matakana. Large stocks available to meet customer needs. Sizes from PB40s to EL60s, with large field-grown trees as well.

We have mature specimen trees ready for instant impact in the right settings. Each of our trees has its own identity, and you can make your choice from our selection. We have all the famous native trees, but also many additional species with beautiful foliage and shape. These include our palms, our pines, our conifers, our beeches, our cordylines and our magnificent flowering trees.

As tree experts, we know what conditions our trees do best in. We will recommend the right method of transportation, and give you plenty of tips as to how to plant them in your location. We can even supply a team to do this for you.

We keep our trees ready for you in 3 forms:

Large polythene planter bags (usually PB60).
Easy-Lift mesh bags (usually 45 litre).
In-field plantings.


We are happy to calculate freight costs for the bigger trees. We can either treat freight as an extra subsequent cost to be billed when known, or you can make arrangements for your own pick-up from the nursery. Most trees can be transported either horizontal on decks, or upright in large trucks with enclosed sides. We carefully prepare the bigger size trees for transporting horizontally.
