Stu has been over the years a royalty fly designer for two of the biggest companies in the world- Not happy with the hooks they were using and the poor quality of their flies and the fact they paid him enough each year to be able to afford a hamburger!

He gradually with the support of Fly Fishermen and women from around the world- Started his own small company Stu's Superior Fishing Flies ltd and owns and dispatches any orders personally himself in between his guiding and running the shop.

His flies adorned the walls of many fishing lodges and collectors, fishermen and professional guides from all over the world are his customers, The top fly magazines in the world have featured them, Fly fishing calendars and many fly fishing dvds have also featured them,Stu also made his own fly tying/fly fishing dvd which toured round the world with a fly fishing film festival, the list goes on and on.
