Strong by Zumba with Pip - New Plymouth

In 2009 my world changed. My darling daughter (2nd child) was born and diagnosed with a chromosome disorder. She has very high physical and intellectual needs. I started going to Zumba Fitness classes as way to lose some baby weight - then I realised the amazing healing process that was going on. This became my drug of choice, my happy place, the one part of my day that I forgot about life and I always walked out feeling like everything would be OK.
In 2014 I started instructing and have loved the last 2 years - it has been an incredible journey of self discovery. In 2016 I took a leap of faith and did the training of Zumba's new STRONG programme. I want and NEED to be strong both in body and mind - for my daughter, my family but mainly for myself.
