The Sound Reading System is an exciting, common sense approach to the teaching of reading and spelling. SRS has been developed to stand simply as a means to an end. The basic building blocks of reading are the ability to decode.

In New Zealand, the Sound Reading System in taught by Linda Rogers a registered New Zealand teacher with a passion for teaching kids to read. Linda is a graduate of the Universties of Ulster and Leicester in the United Kingdom and with an MEd (Special Ed) and Dip Ed Psych from Massey. Linda too has devoted many years to working with children and adults in the field of literacy development.

Linda has studied with the program founder, Fiona Nevola, in Oxford and is now proudly introducing the Sound Reading System to New Zealand where she believes it will make a real difference in helping our children decipher the code..
