South Island Colgate Games 2017

The Colgate Games are the pinnacle of children's athletics. this competition has been running for the past 20 years and caters for children aged 7 to 14 years of age inclusive, in a range of track and field events.

Any child can enter the Colgate Games, as long as they are registered with a local athletics club.

They may compete in up to four events in their age group, plus relays.
7 - 9 years: 60m, 100m, 200m, Discus, Shot Put and Long Jump.
10 - 14 years: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Walks, Discus, Shot Put, Long Jump, High Jump
12 -14 years can also compete in the Hurdles.

With over 800 competitors expected to attend from clubs throughout the South Island, this is an ideal opportunity to come and compete against other young athletes of similar ability to you.
