SL Racing is located in sunny Napier, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Hawkes Bay is loved for its sunny climate, fabulous beaches, sheltered coastal plains and long-established vineyards. SL Racing is dedicated to designing and constructing the fastest and most economical composite boats for rowing clubs and teams in every corner of the world.

SL Racing started trading mid 2010 with the intention of developing a high quality skiff that would help the rower to reach their true potential and to create a practical skiff for coaches and support staff to work on when needed. Not only did we use our own boat building and large rowing experience but brought in further experienced boat builders, composite engineers and industrial engineers have also helped us to create something very special.

SL Racing uses the latest technologies and techniques to produce the highest of quality racing skiffs. We invest in using the latest CAD and 3D CNC machining not just to create a skiff that is superior to row but that is also accurate.
