A little about Shaun

Shaun has always had a keen focus on delivering the highest level of customer service, bringing hard work, energy and creative thinking to the sales process for his valued clients. He brings a strong attention to detail, with integrity and honesty brought to all his clients real estate transactions. Shaun grew up in Auckland and embarked on an O.E at the age of 19 to the United States where he enjoyed a 10 year stay in the New York area and worked in the Hospitality Industry and Financial Markets.

Shaun met a wonderful lady while in New York, married and started a family, a son and daughter Shayne and Emmaly. On returning to New Zealand, both him and his beautiful wife Inna, added to the family with the birth of his son Ethan and daughter Lilly. A loving and devoted father, he endeavors to spend as much time with his children as possible. A sportsman by nature, having enjoyed playing tennis and hockey as a teenager, Shaun has recently joined Cockle Bay Tennis club, to re-kindle his competitive spirit he brings to all his endeavours.

Shaun, enjoyed working in the hospitality industry in his early years in New York and after acquiring the necessary qualifications, entered the world of “Wall Street” as a share broker, the fundamentals remained the same in both careers, looking after people and building relationships, the responsibility and privilege that the advice he gave to clients had both short and long term considerations. In providing quality service and developing rapport with clients, through the ups and downs of the market place, his clients also became integrated into his family lifestyle, much like the Real Estate Market is today.

On returning to New Zealand more than 10 years ago, Shaun has enjoyed working predominantly in the online arena, everything from Website consulting to Google Advertising, Social Media Management through his own Consulting business and the Real Estate Industry. Social Media as well as the Real Estate market has always been an area of keen interest for him, something he has actively engaged with personally. He has, as we all have, witnessed the transformation from the early days, when companies like AOL, Friendster, MySpace were trailblazing, to where things are today, with the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat just to mention a few. There are almost limitless options to connect and engage via a plethora of Social Media Profiles, hence his focus on the Social Media evolution, and how this has transformed how the Real Estate Industry markets and operates in the modern economy.

Shaun knows what it means to communicate and what it takes to close a transaction making the buying or selling experience positive and seamless. He considers himself a people person and this bodes well for the career he is committed to where talking to property owners, and finding out what really matters, their goals and aspirations for their lives into the future. He sees his role as a Real Estate Salesperson a long term career decision, so building relationships with the people he meets is paramount. He also finds the role entertaining and fun to put it simply, always challenging and at the end of the day, finds it satisfying to share his knowledge and assist property owners navigate through the Real Estate market twists and turns, formulating a strategy aligned with their personal and family goals, and watching their results come to pass.
