Rumble in the Rubble

A Christchurch City open-air boxing fight night event with contenders from 16 different companies, all contributing to the Christchurch rebuild.

With contenders coming straight off the construction site, these guys will be trading their hammers for gloves and putting their bodies on the line for the Rumble in the Rubble!

This event will be a highlight of the year for many and will raise the profile of many businesses. Put your company forward to be part of this amazing night of action packed entertainment!

Think bright lights and cranes, cameras and scaffolding with a street level atmosphere, Rumble in the Rubble!

All fighters will undergo two months of intensive boxing training with some of Christchurch’s best boxing trainers. After these contenders have been worked hard and shaped into fighters they will go hammer & tong, head to head in the most exciting event of the year “Rumble in the Rubble”

PURPOSE

We believe this event is a much needed event for Christchurch City, our rebuilders are an integral part of our city and we see this as an opportunity to bring together the best of them for a night of action packed entertainment.

We will make this event as accessible and community focused as possible, although the vehicle is boxing the destination is camaraderie within the community and another way of connecting the people to the city and the rebuilding that is happening.

We will create a space that reflects and portrays the feeling and vibe around the rebuild scene.

FOR A GOOD CAUSE

The For Everyone Charitable Foundation will be a charity recipient for the event this year. We hope to help them raise money to help people within Canterbury that have projects under $5000 that need funding.
