Rotorua Physio + Hand Therapy Clinic is located on Whakatau St.
Whakatau St comes off Pukuatua St opposite where the old netball courts were in Kuirau park. Central City Vet Clinic is on the corner of Whakatau St & Pukuatua St. Coming from the Pukuatua St end Rotorua Physio + Hand Therapy is the second driveway on the right. Signs are out the front.
We have been operating since 1996 and in our current location since 2002. We currently have two Physiotherapists: Daren Griffiths & Megan Naude, and Hand Therapist Jane Griffiths. Our Physios see a range of conditions from acute to longer standing injuries. These include sports injuries, post surgical rehab , work related strains and sprains, home related accidents, sore necks and backs. If it's an injury that involves any of your joints, muscles or spine then it's something we are able to help you with. We are also involved with helping people return to work following injury and often work in with ACC and insurance companies to do this.
Hand Therapist Jane Griffiths specialises in treatment of the hand / upper limb. This may include making on site individual splints / braces for support. Jane is commonly involved in the care sprains / strains, tendon repairs, post surgical rehab, fractures, amputations, burns, wounds, dislocations, mallet fingers, arthritis....and more. Jane works closely in liaison with Orthopaedic Surgeons from Rotorua and surrounding areas including the Hand unit at Waikato Hospital .
