Rewanui is a locally owned and operated kindergarten established in 1987 by Wally and Joan Kennett. Wally named Rewanui after his very first workplace when he was a young man, Rewanui farm and forest in the Wairarapa.
Since 1987 the Kindergarten has become an established part of the local community.
We work collaboratively with children and parents/whānau to provide quality care and education with an emphasis on peaceful play and respect for all things.
Our higher teacher ratios enable us to develop stronger, more meaningful relationships, with both children and whānau.
Our highly acclaimed Transition to School programme has been developed in consultation with the primary sector.
