Rarangi Beach House is large confortable accommodation, open-plan Living Room Dining Room and kitchen, with two King Bedrooms on the lower floor that share a private bathroom. On the top floor there is an extra large king bedroom plus en-suite. This space also has a large seating area, and a blacony with views of sunrise ansd sunset. The beachhouse has expansive open-plan living, and a brand new kitchen, with a large window seating area, and two outdoor decks.

Rarangi Beach House has direct private access right onto the beach front. Wander for hours along the deserted driftwood-covered beach, or walk to Monkey Bay nearby. Watch the most amazing sunrises from the elevated decks or relax with a book and a glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

For Golf lovers, the Beach House is across the road from Rarangi Golf course, Marlborough's Premier 18 Hole All Weather Golf Course. Productive salt-water fishing is available nearby at the Wairau river mouth, and the Wairau river is among the great trout (fresh-water) fishing rivers of this region.

Our self-contained holiday home is perfectly located 5 minutes from the main highway, and only 20 minutes south of the Interisland Ferry terminals. Perfect over night location for early/late ferry crossings.Take long stolls along Rarangi's deserted beach & wake early enough to watch an amazing sunrise, chill out with coffee on the decks, or relax listening to the birds in the the lush grounds at the rear.

Getting around

Marlborough is famous for its vineyards right on our doorstep. Take advantage of a pre-arranged wine tour, and visit a selection of the region's top wine producers. You can also map out your own route & self drive to explore your favourites or, get lost in the Sounds, amongst a maze of coves & peninsulas. Take a leisurely half-day walk up the Snout Track offering fantastic views over Picton or spend an hour or two rambling or riding over the Wither Hills for the most amazing views.
