Pasture First Research is an independent contract research company, providing scientific and high quality field research studies to the seed, agrichemical and fertiliser industries.
Pasture First Research is owned and operated by Nigel Johnston, a Research Agronomist with almost 20 years’ experience in the New Zealand and Australian seed, agrichemical, and bio-stimulant industries, specialising in pasture agronomy, research and product development.
Nigel has extensive experience in running and managing seed, agrichemical and fertiliser field trials throughout New Zealand and Australia and has international experience throughout Europe and North and South America.
Operating in New Zealand and Australia (Pasture First Research Australia), Pasture First Research can provide your company with independent field studies to determine the agronomic performance, efficacy or safety of new seed, fertiliser or agri-chemicals products.
Pasture First Research and Pasture First Research Australia has strong links to leading agricultural institutes and we are heavily involved in field research activities for these industry participants.
Well can also provide consulting services on a range of agricultural projects from business and land development on local and international farms, to R&D programmes for product development.
