Our Mission is to inspire you to sew your own stuff....celebrating your own style whilst doing your thing for social good and the planet.

Explore creative ways to build your wardrobe. Know how to mend. Upcycle & recycle to create new. These are yesterdays skills for modern times.

Our (free) online project tutorials, sewing gift packs and instantly downloadable PDF sewing patterns are designed to introduce the young, inspire the not-so-young and re-inspire the experienced.

We think sewing is becoming a lost art. Most of our grandmothers could sew, but by the time their kids had kids, clothes were much cheaper and there were plenty of choices, and now, with access to the internet our choices are incredible (and sometimes overwhelming)......BUT we think we are all missing something important.................... Cheap clothes are only available because cheap labour in poorer countries make them. Sweat shops are thriving because demand for cheap clothes exists..... AND, we no longer treasure our clothes. We throw them out instead of fixing them.
