NITRO Performance Ponies

Set up by Rachael Kirk, to future breed ponies for her competitive daughter. We breed 1-2 ponies a year with intention to produce one and sell one as a youngster.

Breeding, Handling, Starting, Schooling, Competing, Project Ponies, Selling on Behalf is what we do through Nitro Performance Ponies.

Our favourite lines include but are not limited to Welsh,Thoroughbred, German Riding Pony, Morgan and of course let's not forget the NZ stationbreds and bush ponies.

Our first bred foal was out of a Black Buckskin stationbred mare called Esprit Chocolat (Spree) by Valley Heights Mr Sandman she had a gorgeous wee buckskin filly we named Crema Catalina (Trixie) emh 12.2hh born 2013

Our 2nd foal was out of a tb mare by Morgan stallion Tuatahi Song who is the sire of some super Grand Prix jumping ponies. Nitro Yeah Right is a bay filly named Tui, emh 15.1hh born Dec 2014

Our 3rd foal out of Wattlegrove Alsharette (Flame ) stationbred/arab mare by Showtym Spotlight, the stallion we put her to Golden Strike imported German Riding pony. Our foal was the first with our studname prefix and a stunner named Nitro Bombshell (Marley) emh 14.2hh born Dec 2015

Our 4th foal was out of Gisborne pony mare Flicka by Galaxy Spring Fever top SH and SJ pony. We had a bay filly with a star named Galaxy Game On (Charli) emh 14.1hh born Dec 2015

5th foal Nitro Glitter - Section A welsh palomino filly by Goldenwillow Creamlight out of Troon Moon Song. Destined to be a darling kids pony.

6th foal was Nitro Charlotte a welsh section C filly (Lottie) our of Afallons Touch of Magic (sec C), by our resident stallion Prince Valiant of Afallon. (sec A) born 14 August 2016.

7th foal born Nitro ..... (Poppy) born 22nd Nov 2016 is Beauty (black tb) by El Alpha Reflections a striking Welsh Cob
