21ST NZ SCOUT JAMBOREE
A Jamboree is a large gathering of Scouts who rally at a national or international level. The 21st NZ Scout Jamboree will take place in 2016-17.

Dates: 29 December 2016 to 7 January 2017 - Site: Renwick Domain, Marlborough

Jamboree happens every 3 years and most Scouts only get to one as a "Scout". This is why we say Jamborees happen "Once in a Scout Time".
For most Scouts Jamboree will be the highlight of their time in Scouts. Many may later attend as a Venturer or Rover as “YST” – Youth Staff Team (these are young staff members at Jamboree) or as Leaders but will all hold very special memories of their Jamboree as a Scout.
