The 7.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25 has left the country ravaged. Thousands of people have lost their lives and many more have been injured. Aftershocks have forced the survivors to seek shelter in the open. Densely populated Kathmandu and surrounding areas have borne the maximum brunt of the calamity.
