OUR STORY
Nadgee Fishing Charters is a small local family business, based in Coromandel Town with local knowledge and expertise of former commercial fisherman/woman Russell and Lori Chesnutt.

Fully surveyed/MSA compliant and owner operated, the 43ft hardwood vessel was built in Eden, in the south east of Australia. She was brought to New Zealand in 1996 by Russell and he had been operating her as a trawling vessel until 2011.

Since then, Russell and Lori have converted Nadgee into a charter fishing vessel surveyed to carry up to 15 passengers, and sleeping up to 10 passengers for overnight trips. Her 150hp diesel inboard allows a steady 8kts p/h, though has the advantage of a spacious comfortable back deck with sun cover, weather shields and lots of rod holders. Russell has made every effort to ensure the comfort of passengers while maintaining practicality.
