Murrells Grand View House

Murrells Grand View House offers unique accommodation in historic surroundings just 5 minutes walk from the Doubtful Sound departure point. Host Robert Murrell is the 4th generation of Murrells to run the house and together with his wife Philippa will provide great hospitality and a warm welcome. Four spacious ensuite rooms, a sitting room and dining room are provided to ensure a comfortable stay. The veranda is the perfect place from which to enjoy the magnificent views over Lake Manapouri to the mountains beyond. The house is set in 3 acres of private gardens and offers peace and seclusion. The beach, river and local amenities are just a short walk away.
