Welcome to the Moutere Inn’s Facebook page. This is a fairly static page as we don’t know much about Facebook. The Moutere Inn is New Zealand’s oldest pub in its original building and is located in the village of Upper Moutere about 30 minutes west of Nelson – in the middle of the hop and wine growing area. In fact, if you have a map or a GPS we’re exactly here: -41.267491S and +173.0006818E. We also on Trip Advisor and other online guides though we’re unsure how we got on them.
We specialise in craft and real ales, really good quality pub meals and purely local wines. If you’re in the area to try a few beers or see a few breweries you can go to Craft Brewing Capital or if you’re further afield, the Beer Tourist website.
