Mt Maunganui Golf Club is situated in the Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand. Mt Maunganui is New Zealand's favourite summer holiday destination with a white sandy beach, and a safe sheltered inner harbour beach. Mount Maunganui (The Mount or Mauao) is also the name of the extinct volcano which rises above the town. Shrouded in history and legend, the mountain is a dominant feature of the landscape, and a climb to the summit offers amazing views of the surrounding city and ocean.
The Mt Maunganui Golf Course offers a challenge to all levels of golf and is aesthetically pleasing to play. Take advantage of a course that has hosted many top amateur and professional events, which has included during the 1970's and 1980's PGA sanctioned tour events, both the 2000 New Zealand Men's and the 2003 Women's Amateurs and the 2002 Asia Pacific Championship.
