MOCA - Max O'Dowd Cricket Academy

The MOCA (Max O’Dowd Cricket Academy) is a 4 week programme for young cricketers looking to improve their cricket both technically and mentally.

Joining the MOCA will allow you to gain valuable experience by working with current Netherlands International cricketer Maxwell O’Dowd as well as a variety of specialist spin coaches, pace coaches and batting coaches. All coaches have a vast experience in managing and running group coaching sessions.

No session will be the same. We will be looking to help players grow on strengths and improve weaknesses through a variety of drills, game situations and critical feedback. All sessions will be designed in a way to make playing cricket fun and exciting and to further improve their love of the game.

We are currently looking at ages in the year 5&6 bracket to be held once a week which will be softball sessions, as well as one more session for players in 3rd and 4th form which will be hardball. If interested or for more information please do not hesitate to send an email to mocaademy@gmail.com

All sessions will be held at Massey University’s Sports & Recreation center in Albany. Session times will be finalised over the coming weeks.
