MK Innovative Technolgies Limited (holding company since its incorporation) is a new company that want to specialise in making improvements in the transport and heavy machinery industry with new innovative ideas.
MK's first innovative idea identified a solution to a problem encounted every day by transport (land, sea and air) companies, tradesmen and DIYer's throughout the world which involve improvements to securing cargo. According to the European Commission Transport Dept "it has been estimated that up to 25% of accidents involving trucks can be attributed to inadequate cargo securing". Cargo that is improperly secured can cause severe accidents and lead to the loss of cargo, the loss of lives, the loss of vehicles, and cause environmental hazards. Mk's "Tie Down Roller" is a convenient load securing assembly with many advantages: saves time and effort in loading and unloading cargo, optimises the full use of straps reducing the number of straps required and allows for strapping to be applied and removed more easily, and more importantly provides more even distribution of straining forces applied by strapping to a cargo thus raising the chance that any cargo is held securely in place.
