HOLIDAY HOME CARE SERVICES
Services for owners of private use holiday homes as well as those that let on the holiday home market. Services include:

PRE-ARRIVAL
You will arrive to find your property in immaculate condition, the house aired, beds made up, bath and beach towels ready, lawns mowed, fridge full, pool ready to dive into (or the fire going in winter). Mind the Gap will take care of the little things so that all you need to do is put your key in the front door, unpack your bags and relax into your holiday.

IN-VISIT ISSUE MANAGEMENT
If you have guests staying rather than yourselves, and they have an issue, then they can call Mind The Gap and we will help solve it for them.

POST-DEPARTURE SERVICES
You can relax right up to the end of your stay. Walk out and leave the house keeping details of cleaning and closing up the house to us. Mind the Gap will provide full cleaning and laundry services, re-fill the gas bottle, cover or store the outside furniture, cover the pool, empty the fridge, deal with the rubbish and recycling and close your house up securely until the next time it is required.

If you leave in a hurry and forget something - just call Mind The gap and we will collect it and arrange to get it back to you.

ONGOING UPKEEP
Mind The Gap can provide for your minor maintenance requirements such as replacing light bulbs, tap washers, pest trap monitoring, smoke alarm checking, clearing your mailbox, room airing, cyclic flushing of toilets and so on to ensure your house sits calmly and peacefully between uses.

Mind the Gap can check around the outside of your property on a regular basis and also carry out ‘post storm inspections’ to ensure that your house has safely weathered the event. We will either clean up minor damage (hose the cladding, clean up leaf or branch fall etc) or discuss any more serious remediation needs with you should they occur.

Mind The Gap can also provide regular Gardening and Lawn Mowing services if you would prefer this over your current providers, or if you require we can become responsible for monitoring and managing existing regular maintenance contractors.

Mind The Gap can also attend to provide access for major maintenance contractors that you have chosen, or we can find the best people for the job you want done.

MAKING SURE WE ALWAYS MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS
When we establish a relationship, I meet with you (or your delegate) to go over exactly what you want from Mind Your Gap. We will establish a customised; Pre-arrival Checklist, a Provisioning Form, a Post-departure Checklist, and an Ongoing Upkeep Checklist. These will be our guide at every attendance to your home to ensure consistency of our service to you.

OTHER SERVICES
If you ever decided that you want to rent out your property on the holiday let market, then Mind The Gap can manage the listing and booking service for you. We have some ideas on listing and visitor reference checking you might like.


LAWN & GARDEN CARE
Maybe... you are going to be away from home for a while and the normal lawns and gardens folks are looking for a regular contract. Mind The Gap will look after your property for as long or short a term as you require

IN-HOME CAT FEEDING & MINDING
Are you going to be away from home for a night, a few days or an extended period of time? Cats can get separation anxiety and very stressed out if they are put into another environment

What does your cat want?
“Just don’t go away ....but if you really have to - GET ME A SERVANT !!!”

Let your cat(s) stay master of their own territory, warm and happy in their familiar spaces and still receive the care and attention they expect.
We provide a regular daily visit from a cat lover who sorts out the ever important food and water supplies and makes the fuss of them they expect

We will customise this service to your cat's needs. Stay for an hour and brush me and play with me? - no problem // Feed me two times a day? - no problem // Just sort my food & water then get out as I’ve got some sleeping to catch up on! - no problem // and of course all services include cleaning out the litter box if you’ve got one
