Michelle Burston - Re/Max Real Estate

My biggest love in life is my family, I have been married for over 30 years to my teenage sweetheart and we have three awesome boys, now men. Our lives have revolved around family and sports, soccer, touch rugby, basketball & squash and spending time with immediate and extended family and friends.

My working background has primarily been in the fields of communication and customer service but my passion is in people.
I started in Real Estate 13 years ago, My dad, Les Downes had been a Real Estate Agent for 6 years at that stage and wanted me to sit my papers to work alongside him as his PA. Two weeks before I was due to sit my papers my Beautiful Mum passed away with a brain aneurism at the age of 59 years. She was so excited about Dad and I working together that I sat my papers and the rest is what they call history, she knew working with people is what fulfilled me and put a smile on my face.

It has been fantastic working with my Dad, first as his PA and more recently as his partner. He has a reputation for honesty and integrity and that has certainly formed a base for my work ethics also. The time has now come for Dad to pursue his bucket list and for me to take the reins and work on growing my business into a successful and fulfilling career in Real Estate.
