Meersbrooke Fencing

Meersbrooke Fencing is owned & operated by Alan Rennie. Alan's been a fencer for over 30yrs with experience in all types of rural & lifestyle fencing. For the past 20yrs he's operated as Taihape Fencing – his crew specialising in hill country fencing, including several large scale re-development jobs. They’ve also spent a number of winter's in Southland doing dairy conversions. Now based at Aokautere, Alan & his team provide quality fencing to the greater Manawatu, Rangitikei, Wanganui, Horowhenua & Tararua districts.
Alan enjoys designing solutions for fencing. He’s been an active farmer all his life, with a background in dairying, sheep & beef, sport horse & TB breeding and training; and dairy goats. His practical farming knowledge ensures a good eye for stock flow when fencing.
One off designs, such as garden fences and rustic gates with hand forged fittings are another of Alan’s passions. He’s a keen competion fencer and former winner of the Bill Schueler Trophy at NZ National Fieldays. He’s also a former vice-president and committee member of FCANZ.
