Mataura Centennial Pool

The main pool is 25 metres long and has 6 lanes. Pool temperature sits at 28.5 degrees. There is also a learners' pool and a paddling pool.

The pool is operated by the Gore District Council and this page adheres to its social media guidelines and policy.

MONITORING

The Council promotes freedom of speech and encourages residents to have their say, be it a compliment or a complaint.
However, this social networking site is monitored and if any of the content listed below is discovered, it will be removed:
• Abusive language or content (with malicious intent)
• Content that promotes discrimination on the basis of race, age, religion, gender, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation
• Sexual content or links to sexual content
• Encouragement of illegal activity
• Overtly political statements
• Information that may compromise the safety or security of the public or public system.

Should a conversation be deemed by the Council to be of a slanderous nature, we reserve the right to remove the entire thread; and block those who raise the issue again.

Council will block users who have already had one inappropriate post removed and make a second such post.
