Manukau Districts Cricket Club

Manukau Districts Cricket was formally established in 2005. Prior to that it was South South East District. The contributing clubs are Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club and Papatoetoe Cricket Club. MDC teams participate in the annual Auckland Cricket Districts representative tournaments. Each year level is represented in Boys cricket, as well as an U15 Girls representative team. Although a relatively small District, MDC has performed well in its history.

Players need to be a registered member of either Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club or Papatoetoe Cricket Club. They can register as a Rep only member if they are not intending to play Club Cricket.

Players need to play in their correct school year level unless given dispensation by the MDC Committee.

Players will be invited to trial by their respective liaison officer.
Trials will be a combination of internal trials and a practice game against another District.
The selection process is overseen by the Cricket director and impartial selectors are used, in conjunction with the respective Coach for that year level.
