Lorimers Shop & Post is the smallest department store in New Zealand and the Omakau postal agency. You can buy postcards and stamps, toys, kitchen ware, second hand treasures, jewellery (made on the premises), kitchen knives (made down the road) by Peter Lorimer, beautiful books old and new, hankies, knitted socks, Thundies - so comfortable for bike riding, the list goes on and on.
