Little Sprouts Easter Country Fair

Little Sprouts is running a fabulous Easter Country Fair on Sunday 22 March 2015 from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm.

Set at the idyllic Battle Hill Farm Forest Park this fun filled celebration of Easter and traditional Country Fair is an event everyone in the family will enjoy!

Children of all ages will love the Easter scavenger hunt, Easter craft tent, special performances, animals, pony rides, tractor and cart rides, mini cars, air castles, emergency vehicles and displays, face painting, super heroes and much more.

Young and old will enjoy the traditional food, fresh produce, local art and craft, classic cars and entertainment. You can sample award winning Victoria Sponges, chocolate cakes, scones and cream, jams and preserves and many other delicious treats.

You can even show off your own culinary and crafty skills by entering one of our Fair competitions, with special categories just for kids and great prizes! (Competition details will be on the Fair website closer to the date.)

Competition winners will be announced on the day and winning entries will be on display.

Easter bunny will be hopping around and awarding special prizes to those dressed in the best Easter costume.

There will be a picnic zone to enjoy the lovely food, hay bale seating and a special marquee for little ones if they need a change, a feed or just some time out.

Everyone who buys a ticket to the fantastic Easter scavenger hunt will win an Easter prize, and some lucky hunters will win a golden prize! (Tickets to the hunt will be limited to 500 only, and will be available in advance.)

You can also meet the Park Rangers and explore everything that the Battle Hill Farm Forest park has to offer, from its wool shed and tame eels to its native forests, wetlands and 500 hectares of working cattle, sheep and deer farm.

You will fall in love with this extraordinary and special place.

All money raised will go to the Little Sprouts Charitable Trust to buy baby items for their life-changing baby packs.

These packs are given away entirely for FREE to babies in real need by wonderful organisations like the Women’s Refuge, the Neonatal Trust, Birthright, Barnardos, Red Cross, the House of Grace, the Salvation Army, Social Workers in School and more!

Our goal is to raise enough money to help at least another 200 vulnerable babies and their families.

So grab your bunny costumes, enjoy this wonderful Country Fair, celebrate the magic of Easter and help a great cause at the same time!
