We will guide you through a step by step process of advice and project briefing aimed at clarifying your ideas, priorities and expectations. Our desire is to understand what is important to you and to bring your ideas to life through careful planning, meticulous attention to detail and the highest standard of craftsmanship. All projects, whether large or small, receive that same commitment towards project completion in a timely and professional manner. We arrange building consent applications, monitor the progress of construction and arrange for completion certificates and relevant warranties.

Lightning Construction specialises in New Residential Projects and Renovations, General Building Maintenance and Alterations, Commercial / Retail Fit-outs and Custom-made Steel Buildings for industrial, agricultural and general uses. We are licensed and approved installers of Velux Roof Windows, Skylights and Sun Tunnels to the Canterbury region and certified installers of SolarPeak solar water heating systems. We are experienced in a wide range of traditional and contemporary construction methods and materials.

As a construction company, we engage experienced competent sub-contractors with the skills best suited for individual projects and installations. We are able to offer in-house design consultation or will work collaboratively with your own architectural designer or architect.
